Buffalo Creek Park Loop and Extension

The trail is open for hiking, running and mountain biking. Bikes travel in opposite directions. This is a beautiful forested trip with some nice views. In the winter, views are better. There is a challenge on the loop. From the high point of the loop, the extension goes west. The trail has curves for bikers. There is not enough room for many cars at this time. The Town of Lake Lure is working on more parking.
