This campers paradise is tucked away in the cool quiet fold of a mountain only one mile from scenic Highway 9 and Old Fort Rd. A babbling creek meanders throughout the entire 5 acres of our property. Easy access with paved roads to our address. Your GPS will take you right to the top of our driveway. There are two scenic creek side sites that can accommodate tents, camper vans, and rooftop tents. Bathroom and hot shower available. Inverter generators allowed between 10am-6pm. Tent sites are 25 per night. Enjoy hiking through our 5 wooded acres or hike the 58 acres next door. Community fire pit and all the free kindling you want to gather. With your hosts as guides, view the gorgeous 40 foot waterfall on an adjoining property. Discover our camping paradise for yourself. Nearby: The quaint city of Black Mountain offers unique shopping and restaurants just 11 miles North on the newly paved Hwy 9. Chimney Rock State Park is 20 minutes South off Hwy 9. Visit Lake Lure where Dirty Dancing was filmed. Hike in Florence Nature Preserve or access Continental Divide Trailheads in Gerton@ 10 miles away. Access the famous Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville 40 minutes away. Very pet friendly! We have a large well-trained dog as well as a few neighbor dogs that visit occasionally and thousands of friendly lightning bugs on dark nights. Quiet time 10pm-7am. Limited cell service depending on network (Sprint, AT&T, Verizon), but you may utilize our 25 foot antenna for reliable calls and text and limited data. New for 2022: 12 x16 foot Sky Deck, a tent platform up in the trees. $38 per night. $58 per night with 6 person tent and queen sized cot. Also new: 20 foot camper, sleeps two adults and one child.
