About This Trail
The Brainard Lake Recreation Area is closed during the winter so visitors must park in the parking lot shown here. Visitors are parking outside of the park and there is no fee. The road through the park is open during the summer, but there is a $11 fee to enter. This is a popular snowshoe route and all snowshoers must park here. Dogs are not allowed to use this trail during the winter.
