Excellent views of a desert hike. This is a great choice for a walking trail in the fall or winter. The views of the desert are beautiful. The trail goes through washes, single-track hills and bajadas and is marked. Trail runners should be prepared for sand, technical moves and sandy areas. Make sure you have enough water in the desert. On a warm 70 degree day, the sun and dry heat can pull your energy. There is not much to no shade.
