About This Trail

Bonneville Shoreline Trail (Lewis Peak Section) runs from the mouth of Ogden canyon north to North Ogden divide road. The trail is primarily used for mountain biking, hiking, and trail running. This is the middle section of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail that runs the entire north and south length of Weber county. This section of the trail has many Trailheads and a variety of activities to do. This trail is heavily used so if you are a hiker or biker please keep a watch out for each other. Most of this trail offers little to no shade so be prepared for that. A recent addition to this section will take you high up on the bench with an amazing view of North Ogden below. The Bonneville Shoreline Trail is a major trail that will someday run the length of the Wasatch Front in the east foothills - from Payson through North Ogden. It is mostly on public land, on the benches above city streets and homes. Finished sections of the trail are popular for hiking and biking, and provide great views of the adjoining valleys.
