About This Trail
A hike to and around two collapsed lava tubes is rough. The trail takes you through an open forest with a variety of trees. The lava tubes are one of the longest in North America. They are different from anything else you will see while hiking. The trail goes off from the east side of the parking lot. It is easy to follow as the cairns are large.
