About This Trail
Excellent hike for the family. You begin by going along the right side of the canyon. There are a lot of people groups and cultures etched into the dark rocks along the trail. You could make a back and forth hike on the trail. If you do the loop, the trail heads through the middle of the canyon if you hike the first half next to the canyon. You're too far to see the carvings. This hike is a great one, with nothing hard to do in elevation gain. A great hike for families androglyph viewing. The National Monument has many hiking destinations, one of which is the visitor center a mile up the road.
