About This Trail

Imported description
Hike to the Dripping Springs waterfall. Pets are not allowed. From the front of the visitors center, head left to the trail head. The junction of the Crawford Trail is located at the end of the Dripping Springs Trail. Take the right fork and follow the Dripping Springs Trail. You will find a fork at about 1.3 miles. You should keep right at the next junction. You will arrive at the old Boyd Sanitarium in 0.1 miles. The dining hall has a rock stairway on the left side. The waterfall is above the area and you can follow the stairway up to it. You must return to that path. Go right after returning to the last junction. The Van Patten Mountain Camp is reached by 300 feet further on the trail. Continue on around the loop trail to the main trail, and then back to the visitor's center.
