About This Trail

Imported description
The caves were carved out of the rock by Bill and Cliff Lichtenhahn. The trail starts on a double track through the desert and then splits into a single track as it makes its way to the hills. The brothers made table tops from petrified wood, jasper and other stone. Two caves were used as workshops and one as living quarters. The caves contain the remains of old beds, a boat, shelves, and machinery. The old car is in front.
