About This Trail
The Barry's Island trail begins at the Barry's Landing parking lot. Cattle rustlers used a secret escape route in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Medicine Creek Campground is a boat-in or hike-in only campground at Barry's Island. Continue north around the island. The variation in water elevation can be seen. The trail can be covered during high water. If that is the case, you can take the bypass trail.
