Native Americans have been at the site over 10,000 years. Around the trail there are more than 140 stone circles. tribe used stones to hold tipis They would leave the rocks for the next visit when they got to their next campsite. This is a site that is very important to the cultural and artistic world. It's not right for the stones to remain in place so future generations don't have to.
