Audie Murphy Ridge

You start at the park. There is a lot of cars. There is a trail that leads up to an old fire road. There is no shade, but the views are amazing. The fire road leads to the tee. You are at the flag pole in less than a mile. You should backtrack to the tee but not on the fire road. You will see a trail to your right after that. A lightly traveled path. There is a cross on Mason Mountain. Continue west down the steep descent to the next saddle. Trekking poles are recommended. You will climb up the footpath to the very top if you cross the second saddle. There will be a larger cross here. Return the way you came. It's optional to return to the flag. You can choose to ignore this if you please.
