About This Trail
The area is known for sudden slides that can lead to deaths. The area is usually covered in snow as early as October. Some tours use the cabins at the lake. Aneroid Lake is located on Aneroid Mountain in the Eagle Cap Wilderness. It is between Roger Lake and Dollar Lake. It is not accessible by a motor vehicle. Pete's Point is visible from a small group of private cabins.
