About This Trail
Russian mountaineer Anatoli Boukreev lived in Santa Fe. There is an accessible loop that includes peaks and lakes within the Pecos Wilderness. The time up high is a little rushed but the views are great. The section of rock shoot that you have to down climb is near the lake. If you go this route, please know what you are getting yourself into.
