About This Trail
The trail ends at the Lake. Mt. and the lake are in a high ice-covered valley. The quotes are from: Bierstadt and Mt. It is quote: This is a challenging hike because of the elevation gain and round trip distance. It is near the campground and just past the entrance to the lake. A 4 mile trail follows an old logging road to a spot near the other trail. The trail ascends more quickly to the upper portion of the valley. From the unnamed lake you can find a trail that goes over the willows to the edge of the tundra.
