Youghiogheny River Trail - Ohiopyle to Confluence

It is close to the Beautiful rapids. The Southern Ohiopyle section is a lot nicer than the Northern section. There are lots of places to leave the trail and go to the edge of the river. The confluence of three rivers known as Turkeyfoot is located towards the beginning of a route called the Confluence. A plaque contains information about when George Washington slept here in 1754. The Allegheny Highlands Trail continues to connect to Confluence and ends in Cumberland, Md. The thing is called the TOPO The assessment includes a file with information for the entire Youghiogheny River Trail, from the junction with the river to the confluence with the river.
