Woods Road Ski Loop

This area is great for cross country skiing. The park service closes the road for skiing and snowshoeing during the winter. The loop is made up of both the road and the woods roads. There are usually tracks set on this loop by other skiers and snowshoers. Everyone goes to High Point Ski Center. You will ski through the thick forest. If you want to take a break, you can stop by the Brink road shelter. It's well worth it if you enjoy the area and use up the whole day. Most of the loop is in the woods, except for a small stretch of paved road.
