About This Trail

Imported description
The loop begins on the Appalachian Trail and then goes onto Sunrise Mountain Road. The coursen trail is a short distance from Sunrise Mountain Road. It is possible to pass through the forest on the coursen trail. The forest then becomes a hardwood forest with a swamp and a view of the Kittatinny Ridge. The Tower Trail is reached from the Coursen Trail. The quote says to cross a stream and climb through a stand of pine trees to the top of the fire tower. You will get some great views of the Delaware River Valley. You can see the tree from the top of the ridge on the Appalachian Trail.
