Ward Lake and Ward Creek Trail

The trail follows an old gravel road and is easy to hike on over rolling terrain. The Ward Creek Trail is linked to the Revilla Road tunnel, which leads to the Ward Lake Recreation area. The Ward Creek Trail can be hiked via Revilla Road and Last Chance Campground and back through the trail tunnel. The trail leads to the Brown, Diana, and Ward Mountains. There are interpretive signs that give insight into the ecology of harvested sites. The area has been cleared and thinned to show silvicultural practices used to manage regeneration. There is an opportunity for year-round access to activities such as hiking, running, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
