About This Trail

The trail goes from the parking area to the shoreline of Connell Lake. The trail goes from the shoreline to Talbot Lake. A junction just before Talbot Lake provides access to a viewing bridge on the right trail or a wooden platform on the left trail. The trail is narrow with few steep inclines and is composed of natural tread with a few sections of boardwalk and stairs. The trail is less traveled than the popular Ward Lake Recreation Area. Connell Lake has canoe and kayak access as well as opportunities for trout fishing. The Talbot Lake provides trout fishing and an overnight camping site. The northwest shore of Connell Lake is a good place for a good picnic.
