About This Trail
Go to the War Eagle Lookout after taking the Warren Wagon Road. The Fire Lookout is a good place to visit. He is very helpful and pointed out some landmarks. There are old fire burns around. The next stop was an abandoned gold mine shaft. The remains of a gold dredge can be seen from the trail. Nine steam powered machines dredged this area. It is said that the noise from them could be heard for twenty miles. The Warren Wagon Road is where you should return after crossing Warren Creek.
