The Verde River Trail is 25 miles long and takes you to the first campsite about 7.5 miles in. The creek from the Verde River is very close to the campsite. You can take the trail for 1 more mile to the Verde River. The trail has a lot of chollas so be careful where you walk. The wash is a bit confusing and can be found throughout the trail.
