Tyler Mill Run Trail

This hike or bike ride covers a variety of conditions, including mixed hardwoods, oak and maple, a ridge walk, open fields, and a swamp walk. There are a number of places with nice displays of flowers. There are many trails in the Tyler Mill Preserve. There is a kiosk at the base of Tyler Mill Road and a soccer field on Woodhouse Avenue. It follows dark blue blazes, red, orange, lilac, yellow, red, yellow and blue again. The swamp walk is close to the ridge walk, and it is very pleasant walking in the shade of the hemlocks. From the top of Morris Rock, there is a view of the valley below.
