Portland Riverside Marina Campground

Portland Riverside Campground offers a unique camping experience since it's located at a marina directly on the Connecticut River. The marina is one of the oldest on the river and has been in the same family for more than 40 years. With 25 acres and more than a quarter-mile of river frontage, we are home to 75 boats in the summer and more than 300 for winter storage. The campground is located in a shaded oval that is bounded on two sides by protected forest and wetlands and on one side by the river. Within the oval is a large grass recreation area. River access is just steps away, so if you have a small boat or inflatable, bring it along! Portland Riverside's 22 campsites are either grass or concrete pads. Each site had a picnic table and electric and water hookups. The campground has night lighting, and washrooms and showers are located in the nearby marine store building. The marina and campground are highly secure, and the marina and campground manager lives on site. From late spring to late fall, many boaters are on hand, using their boats or fishing.
