About This Trail
The trail from the recreation path to the second bridge on the west side is closed for the entire month of June. You can follow a creek up the middle of a small valley to the Tea Cup Bowl and Blue Sky Basin. It was pleasant to travel through thick forest, along with rocky outcrops, and across fields of colorful wildflowers. It's best to bring water to the creek, it's not always near the trail. The trail at the west end is lined with berry bushes. In the late August and September months, be aware of bears. During hunting season, hunters may use this area. The trail is never marked or maintained during the winter.
