About This Trail
The Longleaf scenic byway can be seen from the trailhead. It eventually gets to the Backbone trail. It was rough, not marked with trail markers. You are in the Kisatchie Hills Wilderness area, so there are no motorized vehicles or bikes. It was equestrian in foot traffic. Dogs are on a leash. It was easy for flatlanders. There are two routes. One went on top of the hill while the other went around it.
