Longleaf Vista Road to Backbone Trail

The Kisatchie Forest has rocky hills and scenic overlooks that may be surprising to many. The trail is in good shape and the colors of the fall give you a lot of scenery. It's a good idea to be prepared for walking on rocky terrain, steep ascents and creek crossing. It's perfect for an overnighter or long weekend. The blazes change colors, but they are the same trail.
