About This Trail

There is an auto tour that goes along a three-mile gravel road along the Little River. It starts at the Great-Smokey Mountains Institute and goes to the Middle Prong Trail. There is an historical site and the location of a former logging town. You can pick up a brochure near the entrance of the institute. There is a parking lot at the end of the auto trail. There's a lot to see along the way. You can take a bike, drive, or ride a horse. There are lots of places to take a break from the bustle of the city.
