About This Trail
"The Transept Trail leads past the park's North Rim campgrounds, and you can even take a hike through the Transept canyon, which has a nice view of the rim." The Grand canyon Lodge is located on the in and behind the Transept trail which is the gateway to the North Rim campground. The easy tomoderate trail takes you through pines and through Quaking aspens, making it a great path to take at the campground. At the campsite lies an ancestral Puebloan ruin with a Line of rocks that looks like a trail. You will see a number of hills with a little slope. Here at the North Rim of the canyon there are more cliffs to traverse than usual, but you can still get some nice views.
