About This Trail
The Thumb Butte Area is in the Bradshaw Ranger District of Yavapai County. It has a variety of trails and a picnic area. The top of the trail closes frequently for wildlife and birds. Hikers are the only ones allowed on Trail 33. The trail is almost 2 miles long. You can hike the entire trail for about 1.5 hours. A trail near the crest offers a good view of the area. The east side of the trail is paved in order to keep soil from being washed away. There are interpretive signs. There is a $5 parking fee.
