About This Trail

Imported description
The Sugar Tree hollow trail starts at Bald Rock and proceeds into the national forest. You can see the Cane Creek Trail in the background, after the spur trail ends at a quarter-mile. The Sugar Tree Hollow Trail has all the typical qualities but is also beautiful. It begins in the forest, then crosses several creek ways before going down a short path to its destination. The waterways are calm and there is no cascade or waterfall. rock formations are very rare. It's a great place to give a young child a nice introduction to the forest and for those who only wish to walk a little or not walk at all. The Bald Rock picnic area is a popular spot for family outings and gives access to various picnic areas, including barbecues and tennis courts. A steady incline is how difficult it is.
