About This Trail
There has been some mud caused by a gradual grade. There is a moderate grade to ascent. The fire tower at thetop of the mountain has really nice views. Continue for another 3.5 miles to Stratton Pond. There's much to see here, you can get some exercise and swim in the water. The hike out on the Stratton Pond trail, which is flat with a lot of mud, is a bit over three miles to the road and a bit under one-fourth mile to the parking area.
