About This Trail
One of my favorite hikes is on Snowflower Mountain. It's best to do it between May 1st and November 1st as the road to the upper part of Thomas Creek is seasonal. The trail is well maintained until you get to the summit. The views get better with each step you take, which is why the switchbacks is tough. The aspen and the wildflowers are amazing in the fall. This long hike will take you to Mount Rose, Mount Houghton, and the rest of the Mount Rose Wilderness.
