About This Trail
There are two summits on Snake Mountain. The north summit is slightly lower in elevation. It is the highest point in Johnson County and has a lot of views. The south summit is the highest point. It is 100% in NC but has no opinions. There is an open meadow just before the trail goes back down the mountain that has great views of Rich Mountain, Grandfather Mountain and the ski areas.
