About This Trail

Users have reported the area has temporary CLOSURE. Before arriving at the park please consult the website. It's possible to get to the Smith Morehouse Trail from either the Ledgefork or Crystal Lake Trailheads. It is a less-preferred hiking destination in the Ueintahs, and is often hard to navigate. To get to the place, take a map and compass. You can have someone bring your group off at one of the trail heads, and then you can be in a cab at the other end. Most of the high mountain camping and fishing areas are near the first 3.5 miles of this hike, which is the most engaging scenery. The trail is very hot during the summer months. You should be sure that you have enough water and a filter in case.
