About This Trail
The Sierra Discovery Trail loop is an easy to understand trail that explains the geology and ecology of the Bear Valley and the Sierra Nevada. The trail begins as pavement crosses a bridge. You can see the falls on your left after you left the Bear River bridge. Continue on the loop trail after seeing the waterfall.
