About This Trail

The Shermans Creek is a lazy river. It was slowly winding around mountains and fertile farmlands. The Dellville covered bridge will be in the shadows of this trip. You will float at the base of the mountains and through some deep pools until you reach the fields. There are some shelves just above the second bridge on Dellville Road. You can only float on the waters of the Shermans Creek at certain times. The best times are early spring and snow melt. It can be done after certain rains, but not at flood stage.
