About This Trail

The Great Allegheny Passage will be the starting point for the Sheepskin Trail, which will connect Port Marion and the trail system around Morgantown. It is a two mile spur of fine crushed limestone. The Dunbar Historical Society is worth the visit because they are building a replica of a coke furnace which is important to the history of this region. The train runs between Uniontown and Dunbar on Saturdays. The Historical Society is located at the end of the trail and sells tickets for $15
