Sentinel Point Trail

It was paraphrased as saying "Beaver Ponds, views, alpine tundra, waterfalls, solitude." It was a great hike. The trail starts in the parking lot. You can follow the trail to Horsethief Park. It's best to see a left turn after the terrain levels out. There is a trail that crosses a stream. Follow the trail north through a small valley. The trail will take you to a Y. Put the right leg of the Y in this small valley. The trail will soon get to an area where the stream used to be. When the trail ends head right and up to the ridge to join the ridge on the East side. If you want to descend there, look for an opening at the rocky ridge. Go after the stream until you reach the Horsetheif Falls trail. It is possible to return to the Trailhead after following this trail downhill.
