About This Trail

Imported description

There is a fun play area with views. It is an easy drive from Colorado Springs to the popular area. There is a loop with legal side roads to explore. Clarifying: Fun and narrow. Lunch at a great overlook above the Air Force Academy. A great area for a weekend campout with lots of dispersed camping. You can ride an unlicensed vehicle from your campsite. The first 2.5 miles crosses sensitive private land. It is advisable to pass through quietly to avoid conflicts with property owners. It's located in the national forest. The roads have banked turns and narrow spots. The side roads are steep and have occasional rocky challenges.
