SB6K, South Beyond 6000 and Roan Highlands

You can start at the Carver's Gap parking area and walk north on the AT for 1.9 miles to Engine Gap and Jane Bald. It was to Grassy Ridge Bald. Go back to Carvers Gap and then south on the AT for 1.5 miles. It was to the high school shelter. The summit of the high mountain is 0.1 miles. The shelter is behind it. To qualify the third Roan peak, return to Carvers Gap for a moderate total hike of 8 miles. The parking lot is on the left. Continue 1.0mi. The Cloudland Trail leads to the high ridge. It is possible to retrace the route to Carvers Gap.
