About This Trail
The sportsmen of South Carolina received a gift from Thomas G. Samworth. State acquisitions and grant acquisitions have increased the size of Samworth WMA to 1,588 acres. There are over 1,300 acres of wetlands and 200 acres of up land in the state of S.C. It includes deer, turkeys, ducks, and hogs. There are many things available on this property, such as a public boat launch, fishing opportunities and a nature trail.
