Boardwalk Loop Trail

The section of Boardwalk between the Visitor Center and the first junction will be closed in December of 2019. The Visitor Center will be the starting point for a section of the Bluff Trail that will lead to the Boardwalk. The elevated boardwalk is raised nearly 6 feet above the forest floor. The self-guided brochure can be used to listen for the birds. The boardwalk goes by Weston Lake, an old channel of the Congaree River.
