About This Trail
The trail from Roaring brook to Russell pond is long, but easy. The trail is a little more steep if you choose to take it on the East side. Canoe rentals are a first come first serve service and can be had for $1 an hour or $8 per day. There are several lean-to and bunk houses for rent. This is a good place to stay and hike. The ponds in the are are visited by moose. There is one stream crossing.
