About This Trail

This is a very dangerous hike with some of the route being off- trail. Start at the Lawn Lake Trailhead and go past the other lakes to "The Saddle". Start your accent up to Hagues Peak. There is a dangerous climbing route up to the top of the mountain. The east side of the glacier is very difficult to get to. You will come upon the lakes after you pass the boulder fields. The brush and forest are hard to get through. It's pretty simple once you get to the Lost Lake Trailhead. The Lost Lake, North Boundary, Cow Creek and Black Canyon trails are not special. There is still a lot of elevation gain, but mostly just hiking through the forest.
