About This Trail

Imported description
It was stunning high views. Visit Santiago Ghost Town. The views from Argentine Pass and McClellan Mountain are amazing. Santiago Mine and Ghost Town have historic buildings. There are many legal side roads. The area is great for unlicensed vehicles. There are many tourist attractions in Georgetown. The visitor center is near the freeway exit. The best time to go is mid July through September. It is located in the Arapaho National Forest. Clear Creek Ranger District has a number at the start and at the top of Argentine Pass. Unless you take alternate route 248.1B along creek, most of the lower route is easy. It can block the trail in the winter. The old railroad grade leads to the top of McClellan Mountain.
