About This Trail

Hike to a scenic lake and waterfall. The Todd Trail is on the east side of the road. The trail leaves a woods road through a forested area. Take the white trail to the overlook and see the town of Oakland below. Pick up the yellow trail on the right after you retrace your steps. A great spot for a lunch break is Lake Todd, which is skirted by the trail. The trail goes to a grassy area, wheregypsy moths have killed most of the trees. Continue on the yellow trail and it will lead you back into the forest. You will hear the sound of a brook in front of you as it cascades over the small waterfalls. The trail crosses the brook. Retracing your steps will allow you to return to your car.
