About This Trail

Imported description
A trail that provides gorgeous views from Pond Mountain and Stone Mountain peaks is lightly traveled. It is moderate in difficulty, and runs along old farm roads. The Trailhead is only accessible by car during the months of September-December. Gate closings add a 5 mile round trip to reach the trailhead in January-March and a shorter 2 mile round trip in April-August. It is recommended to wear orange during hunting season because it is not allowed on Sundays.
