This trail goes to the base of the peak. It starts near the Chisos Basin Ranger station and goes to a point between Toll Mountain and Emory Peak. The trail ends on the Chisos Mountain ridgeline. The Boot Spring Trail goes southwest and then goes southeast towards the South Rim.
