About This Trail

The landmark that is Mount Wachusett is a 2006 feet high mountain that is located in the central New England landscape. From the top, you can see the views from the mountain. The Boston skyline can be seen from New Hampshire to the east. The Wachusett Mountain State Reservation is surrounded by the summit and contains many natural resources. Natural resources include forests, ponds, streams, fields and even a perchedbog. There are many opportunities to enjoy nature study, hiking, picnicking and skiing at the reservation. The reserve has 17 hiking and walking trails.
